Wizard Smoke

My good friend Sam convinced Matt, Josh and myself to drive up to Hylite Resevior to "slay" the stocked cutthroat that spawn up a stream that feeds in the resevior. Fishing reports he had heard were considered to be in the "stupid" category - with friends of his catching 100+ fish in a couple of hours. Well either Sam's other friends were blowing "wizard smoke" up his butt (Matt's exact words) or the recent snow and ice put the fish in "dorment" mode. Never the less, we had a good time freezing our legs and enjoying a couple casual pulls of "whiskey" to stay warm.

Movement

Last week I felt the little bean give me some kicks. Not strong yet, but I can tell it is the baby. It feels like a muscle twitching and is getting stronger as the days go by. Peter is frustrated that it is too early for him to feel it and I think a little jealous that I can feel it and he can't. I'm popping out a bit more every day and I can't button any of my pants anymore. My mom came to town this weekend for a quick trip with a friend. She blessed the socks off of me with her presence and gifts of maternity clothes. She was only here Friday night and part of Saturday but it is always fun to see her. Peter, Matt, and Josh spent most of Saturday putting trim in our condo and then decided to fish in the afternoon. Not much luck but the weather was not cooperating. We are so extremely blessed by our friends and their willingness to help us. They bring much joy to our lives.

17 weeks

This is a picture Peter took of our friend Matt on the Gallatin River Easter weekend.
This is the beautiful "wood" flooring Peter put in our condo this weekend. He worked very hard and is feeling sore today. He and our little buddy Blake are cleaning the floor so Peter can put paper over it to protect it.
Blake is our dear friend Addie's little boy. He is two and just a bundle of energy and personality. I got to watch him on Sunday and he was having a blast hammering the floor in the bedroom.
Finally, something to show in pictures! I am 17 weeks today and watching my tummy get bigger every day. Here is what the baby is doing this week: http://www.babycenter.com/mybabycenter/117.html

Bellies

This is a picture of my sister and I comparing bellies on Easter. My brother decided to ruin the picture by putting his finger in my mouth.
This is my beautiful sister making a not so beautiful face at her prom last weekend. What a hottie!

Friends

This is me and two of my friends outside our new condo. Lindsey is in the middle and we lived together before I got married. She now lives in Billings and it was a great treat to see her! Reese is on the far right and expecting twin boys any day now!

16 weeks

Hello all. Sorry, no pictures to post this time but I thought I should post at least something to let you know how we're doing. I am 16 weeks along now and feeling SO much better. I have more energy and spend much less time on the couch after work. I am getting a small bump but nothing too noticeable. My parents and my sister came down for Easter and we had a great weekend. Of course the time went too fast but it was fun to see everyone. Our condo is coming along nicely and Peter and our friend Matt installed the tile this weekend. There is lots to do before it is ready but we are taking one task at a time. It is keeping Peter busy and I am going to start going through all the junk we have in our house so we can fit into a smaller space. It is all very exciting.
