Final days...

Peter is in his final days at Heritage. He has today and then a half day tomorrow and then school's out! He will then start working for our friend Matt building houses this summer. After the summer he will hopefully get a job in the Bozeman Public schools but we'll see what the Lord has planned for us!
Peter had his kids build bridges using toothpicks and marshmallows. This was the winning bridge holding 95 pounds! Pretty amazing!

Color!

Picking some paint off my belly. Sometimes I feel like I am getting a pretty good pregnant belly and then I wake up the next morning and there's not much there. He's moving lots though and Peter and I both got to see him move my belly the other night, very exciting and fun.
We put a light green in the kitchen and then a darker green (above) in the living room. We are learning lots about paint and what colors go together and such. I am already changing the color in our bedroom! At least it is easier to do it now rather than wait until we have carpet and furniture in there. We hope to close and move in here on June 20th or before. It is exciting to finally get a date and know we will move in! Well, we better because we have to be out of our current place June 24th. Needless to say, we can't wait to have the condo finished and be all moved in and settled.

Finally some fishing!

Our friend Josh fishing on Hyalite Reservoir
Peter finally got a break from working on the condo and was able to take some time to fish. I was glad he got to go and refresh himself. The weather wasn't perfect but Josh and Peter had a good time and Peter even caught a couple fish. Above he caught a 14 inch greyling on a size 12 parachute adams, apparently a very big fly for so early in the season. He threw it out there because the fish were rising and he wanted to see how hungry and picky they were. Not too picky as it turns out! We have been getting a lot of rain and even some snow lately so the fishing probably isn't too great now but hopefully he will be able to get out again soon.

halfway there...

So, 20 weeks marks the halfway point for the pregnancy. YAY! It is nice to know I am that much closer to meeting our little guy but September is still a long time away! We have lots to do before then so it is good that we have that time. Peter has been hard at work putting the trim into our condo. He has been working after school every day this week and we will continue working this weekend. He is done with the trim so we get to start priming and painting. After that, we are done with our work and the "real" workers can finish putting the condo together. We have a rough closing date of June 22nd so there is an end in sight, but there was an end in sight many times so we are not getting our hopes up too much!

Last weekend I had some sharp pains right below my ribs and nothing I tried seemed to be helping. It got better on Sunday but wasn't completely fixed. The pain was right below my ribs so I wasn't concerned about the baby being affected. And I could still feel him moving. I called my doctor on Monday and they wanted to see me just to check me out. They took my blood and it wasn't my appendix, wasn't a bladder infection, everything came back good so they scheduled an ultrasound on my gallbladder for Wednesday. The good news is that they found a reason for the pain I was having, the not so good news is that I have something called "sludge" in my gallbladder. Yes, that is a medical term! I guess it is just bile that has built up in there or something. When I eat really fatty foods, (like the peanut butter I had Saturday morning I guess), they cause my gallbladder to inflame a little and cause the pain. The baby growing in me also helps crowd my gallbladder and makes it more susceptible to being irritated. So, now I have to stay away from very fatty foods, like pizza, (my favorite), gravy, butter, etc. By my staying away from those foods it should be okay until after the baby and we may have to do something more extensive to fix it. Anyway, long story short, I am okay and baby is okay and we'll see how to handle it after the pregnancy.

Peter finally felt our little guy move this week and is not feeling quite as jealous anymore. As our little buddy gets bigger, he'll be able to feel him more and more. Thanks for reading!

Baby Moore @ 20 weeks!

We have some ribs and a foot here, much clearer on the real picture.

A little profile action.
The "jewels" are just below the green text.

We went into the ultrasound not wanting to find out what we were having; we were just hoping for a human. The technician was great and really was surprised that we didn't want to find out. After he (the technician) left the room to find the radiologist Peter commented to me that he supposedly saw a twig and some berries. I also thought it was a boy and Peter wanted to find out just because he wanted to know if he was right. I was shocked because he was the one who was so against finding out in the first place! The technician came back in and we told him what we were thinking. He told us to close our eyes for a minute. He was going to print a picture and put it in a sealed envelope for us so we could find out at a later date if we wanted to. After he told us to open our eyes, I blurted out, "I peeked!" I am proud to say that I am very impatient and hate waiting for surprises! Both the technician and Peter were shocked at me and Peter obviously then needed to know as well. I waited a bit, but then showed him the above picture so he knew he was having a son. I have never seen Peter so excited! He was literally jumping up and down, air punching down the hall, hyper as can be, saying, "First time...oh yeah...baby boy!" In the picture above, you can see his little penis on the right. It is like you are looking at his butt between his legs. It is pretty obvious he is a boy. The very top picture is a picture of his foot and the middle picture...well if you can't figure out what the middle picture is - too bad.

I was a little disappointed that I ruined the surprise for both Peter and I but now we are very happy to say "him" instead of "it" and looking for names and baby clothes. Love you all!

Twins!

This is Reese and me the day before her boys came out. A little bit of a difference!
Here are Smith and Mason! Smith is on the left and Mason on the right. Details below.
A little snuggling!

The Schuyler twins are here! They were born Monday around 4:20 pm via c-section after Reesie had labored for 14 hours and pushed for 2 1/2. The first one is Smith and he was 6.5 pounds. Mason came next and was 6 pounds. Very good sized twins! There was only one placenta so they are probably identical but they are still waiting for more results. Everyone is healthy and happy and Reese and Matt are deeply in love with their sons.
