What's Up?

In case you missed it, this is what I've been up to lately:

My Uncle Jon has me on a strict exercise regiment to get me walking. I do 5 sets of lunges 3 times a day. I don't use any extra weight at the moment, but the boots add at least an extra pound or so. I totally get a good burn.

I tried coffee for the first time this break, and no I'm not worried about it stunting my growth. Mom says there are 12 other people my age shorter than me. Thanks for asking though.

I like to read my Truck book...

... and also "Mortimer's Christmas Manger."

When I'm not reading, I'm getting my Frog out of the cave. I just push the button...over and over and over again.

I also like to pretend to read while I do "my business." I don't think I'm fooling Mom or Dad though...something about "upside-down...blah blah blah...upside-down!?"

Thank you everyone who got me wrapping paper and boxes for Christmas. You know just what I like.

These are my Grandparents. That's my Grandma ma Joanie on the left, and the "Crazy" guy who always rubs my head, squishes my face and tries to make me walk is on the right. Crazy Crazy.

Catching my breath and a drink.

Chilling with my Great Uncle Ed. He's fun.

That's my Auntie Nessa and my Mom. I like them.

I went sledding for the first time this Christmas. Anything involving me sitting and someone else doing all the work, I'm all game.

I really did have fun sledding, really I did.

This is me getting ready to take a uber dacious ride down a narly cliff.

I saw my life flash before my eyes, all 6 seconds. Wow, that was a close one. Totally worth it though.

I begged my parents for days (pointing and asking...pointing and asking..pointing and...) to go outside and at least touch this yellow machine (cause I saw one that's just like it in my Truck book). Not only did I get to touch it, but i got to sit inside the darn thing. WOW.
Man I did a lot this past week, all of which were great and fun...and exciting. What was your favorite part of last week?

and the winner is....

kiersten! she was right on with her guess of 19 pounds and 2 ounces. she will receive a little something in the mail once i decide what that something is!
everyone else was quite a bit over. i guess he decided to stick to his 2 pounds every 3 months. he measured 30 1/4 inches and is in the 12th percentile for height! yay! he is also in the 12th percentile for head circumference but hasn't hit the charts for his weight. all in all, a happy healthy boy. he had to get 4 shots today, one in each arm and leg. it was a very sad time but i think the milkshake afterwards cheered him up. the ice cream headache he got did not. kale has just a few tricks that he sometimes will perform, the most recent one being finding his belly button. if you ask "kale, where's your belly button?" he will lift up his shirt to find it.
if you say "kale, where's your nose?" he will lift up his shirt to find it.

he has 4 teeth in front and the doctor felt a molar coming in on his left side on the top and another one working in on the bottom.

did i mention he likes to climb?

hiding under the table to "do some business"

he loves looking in the washing machine and has started helping me by taking things out. dirty or clean, he just takes everything out.

he talks lots and lots but we can only understand "da da" and when he whispers "wow". no steps on his own yet but just yesterday started balancing in a standing/squatting position. should be soon grandpa ray!

guess

a week from today, kale is going to his 15 month check up. any guesses on how much he is going to weigh? at 12 months he was 17 pounds and has since gone through his first thanksgiving where he could actually eat the food. i am going to guess he is 20 pounds and 4 ounces. a specialy prize might be available for whoever gets closest without going over. (standard price is right rules)
