well, our little bug is a year old. he's actually getting older even though not much bigger! as mentioned earlier, he only gained 2 pounds from 9 months and now tips the scales at 17 pounds 4 ounces. not on the charts for weight yet but making an appearance in the length category at 28 inches. long and skinny our guy. the doctor took his blood and he is slightly anemic and will now start taking iron drops for awhile.
lots has changed in the last month. he has a couple teeth on the bottom and points at everything! no sign language yet but when he wants more of something, he points at it. he is very proud of himself when i stand him up against the couch or coffee table and it is a good way to keep track of him as he can't get himself down yet. he is so much fun, interacting more all the time and always ready for a laugh. 
somehow we got him to sit still for two seconds before he lunged for the camera.
i caught him halfway out the door to the porch and halfway out of his pants. since then i have decided he will be wearing overalls until he can walk.
peter went hunting this last weekend and kale was trying to smuggle himself in his bag.
john doesn't have a tv in his dorm so his xbox is at our house and we are working on mastering guitar hero.

The picture of him losing his pants made me laugh out loud!! He won't be the first guy in the Lipp family to wear overalls! Grandpa Bill is smiling from heaven!

also, kale is very cute and jack would like to start a garage band with him. my little guy will be on the drum set.
WOW! I can't believe your little man is already a year old! Time sure does fly...Braylee is already almost 6 weeks old and it seems like I just had her (kinda sad). Hope all is well is Bozeman. I always enjoy looking at your blog...
before I even saw grandma j's comment I thought about great grandpa Lipp and how he always wore overalls. As i had heard the stories after I return the quilt made from them that mysteriously was found in the camper. I think it must of been left in there after the wedding.
