Surprisingly, the transition back to Montana has been better than I could have imagined. I expected there to be lots of crying as Joel got used to sleeping without being held but he has adjusted very well. Last night he slept from 8:00 to 4:00 and then after he ate he slept until about 8:45. Here's praying for a repeat tonight! Peter is in Chicago this week and will travel some the next 2 weeks as well. Not too fun but he gets to go to Switzerland the last week in January so that is exciting. We are keeping busy at home with "bends" (friends) and my sister is staying with us some. I don't know how I could do it without her! Single moms everywhere, I salute you. He thinks he is pretty cool in Dad's hat.
Chillin' next to Auntie Ness.
Modeling his new Mater underpants and his new bus and "tarn" (fire truck). Last week we saw a Tow Truck driving and Kale called out "Mater!" Maybe we've watched Cars too many times?

It's a start!
And yes, he is picking toe jam out of his toes.
